ReplyDeleteSelina,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for putting the Remembrance together. It was such a fitting way to remember our dear friend. The pictures were great and with the music, her story was beautiful told. It was also great to see her friends and family again. Rina's mememory will be with us always.

Selina -
ReplyDeleteThank you for organizing and coordinating such a wonderful day last Saturday. It meant a lot to me to be able to attend the gathering and to spend time with all of you who share memories of Ferdousi. I cried and I laughed that day. It felt good to do both surrounded by my dear friend's family and friends. I am sure Ferdousi was happy that day.
Take care of yourself and the two smart and handsome boys you have. You and everyone else did a beautiful job speaking at the remembrance.
Neda
We are so very sorry to have missed this time of remembrance with family and friends of Rina's.
ReplyDeleteShe has been a special person in our hearts since we first got to know her when she was a child and lived across the street from us in Platteville, Wisconsin.
We loved her parents and sisters and still do, but once the family moved, we lost contact with the family.
My son saw the beautiful write up of Rina on the UW Carbon site last week. He was upset that we hadn't told him about her being ill and her death. We had to tell him that we were shocked and hadn't known about it until that minute. I cried myself to sleep, missing her not being here to share this earth. Our family feels so bad for what she and her family had to go through in her fight against cancer. I'm sure she gave it a good fight. Bless all of you who new and loved her. With Love, the Fenrick family.
With Rina's birthday coming up on Friday, I will pause and say a prayer for David and the rest of her family. God Bless you all.
