March 27, 2012

My family was told late this afternoon that my beloved sister Rina is in critical condition - she has anywhere from hours to perhaps days to perhaps weeks to live.  My heart aches for our David most of all.  May the angels unseen among us comfort my sister and my nephew and my parents and my sons and our entire family.  May God hear our cries and our prayers and deliver a miracle.

    Dear God, please take care of our Rina. We all love her so much. Bring her and those around her comfort. Please allow her to come home from the hospital to be cared for.

    Rina, my dearest, you are such a wholly fierce human being and I am truly in awe of you. I know you probably don't feel too fierce at the moment, but you really are so strong in spirit and mind. I'm sorry you feel so awful right now and I hope and pray that your doctors can do something for you so you can at least feel better. Know that you and your family and David are in my thoughts and prayers and know that you are loved and admired by all of us whose lives you are a part of. Wish I could do more for you but I am thinking of you tonight...

Ur David will be a great son, he will be a big NBA star, he will play basketball just for u. David is a strong boy, he is never shows people that he is upset.     Life sucks, it really does, but it is worth living for. Especially yours, because wherever you go there is always someone who loves you or will come to love you. You can make me laugh and smile when no one else can. I love you so much because to me you are like a second mom (I'm sorry if that makes you feel old). Growing up, you were always there to support us; thank you. Even now I still think of you as a wild, crazy,and awesome sister. You can't give up, because I still need you. I'm sorry if that's selfish of me, but it's true. I don't want you to be sick. None of us do. Because we love you and we will never stop. We only realize what we want until after we lose it. Everyone dies, sooner or later we all do. But neither today, nor tomorrow, nor next week nor next year is your time. So fight to live.
