From Minnesota to Michigan
Hello Everyone - I am so happy to let you know that Ferdousi is now in Michigan. We were holding our breath until the last moment, praying that she would be well enough to travel. She is at my parent's home and doing better than she has in the last few weeks. Our heartfelt thanks for the help of Laurie, Chris, Sue & Fred last weekend for helping with the physical move of all of Ferdousi's furniture & belongings. And of course thanks so much for all of the cousins, aunts and uncles who helped in Michigan. We are so grateful for your generosity of time & energy. I hope that Ferdousi will soon be feeling strong enough to post an update on her blog. In the meantime, she is in the care of the world's most loving & patient mother and father that were ever created! Ferdousi's medical care will now be in Michigan and her first appointment is this Friday. She will resume chemotherapy next week. Thanks for all your prayers and positive thoughts.

Thank Goodness you are back where so many know you and care deeply for you. What a relief for everyone! Even us friends who are far away and unable to help much. This news made my day today. I am going to check how far you are from us now and see if we can plan a trip to see you soon again.

what's up Ferdousi? i was just relaxing in front of the computer and thought i'd drop in and say hey. just now thought how nice it is not to have tv obsessing but a computer to send out messages.
ReplyDeletei ate the last of the snacks ('extra' brownies) that didn't make the trip. which is not what i planned for my post run meal but went with the red wine better than i expected. so far the plan is to run one day, eat anything, re-evaluate.

ReplyDeleteall this time and so many choices, i sometimes get confused. it is reassuring to think that sharing a few thoughts about you are worthwhile, so thank you.
it was one of those weeks when all the busy hours at work didn't seem to come together in any meaningful conclusion but i always felt hurried and pressured. it's just so lame that as the most advanced species we still fail to communicate as effectively as our imaginations call for. kind of ironic, the internet being so filled with scandalous material....
ok. hope you have some great music to listen to and stay beautiful.
